Staff profile / Philip O'Reilly
Senior Lecturer
Philip O’Reilly is a Senior Lecturer and Acting Course Director on the Art and Theory Matrix course. He is a practicing artist and recent commissions include “Touching Glasgow” A Digital Print on Synthetic Felt with Hand-embellishment for the University of Strathclyde School of Law (2006). Two Murals for the Kings Cross Development, London; a Large Scale Ceramic Mural and Large Scale Cast Aluminium Mural for P&O Developments (2004 – 2005)
Philip’s main areas of research are Textiles, Textiles Technology, Digital Print, Dye Sublimation Technology, Substrates, Materials and Colour Applications.
Philip O’Reilly is a member of the Centre for Fine Art Research (http://www.wirad.ac.uk/research-themes/centre-for-fine-art/) part of the Fine Art and Ceramics theme within WIRAD.
